Observance of vigilance awarness week

The Central Vigilance Commission has directed to observance the Vigilance Awareness Week from 31.10.11 to 05.11.11 and RO has directed to take the following pledge at all the operative and administrative offices.

The National Postal week is going to be celebrated by this department from 09.10.2011 to 14.10.2011 and each day will be celebrated in different manner and 12.10.2011 is going to be celebrated as Philately Day. In this connection, Painting and Quiz competition is proposed to conduct at Coimbatore on 12.10.2011 (Wednesday) stands cancelled. Regional Cultural Meet Competitions

The Regional Cultural Competitions will be held on 18.10.2011  (Tuesday)  at Farmer’s Residency, Tamilnadu Agricultural University Campus, Lawley Road, Coimbatore 641003  and the competition will be held from 09.00 a.m. onwards.

The items for the competition are enclosed herewith.  Certificate for proof of age for Junior Participants ( up to 15 years of age as on 31.07.2011 )  should be enclosed. An entry fee of Rs.10/- per item of participation in the form of crossed Postal Order drawn in favour of the SSPOs, Coimbatore Division should be sent along with the application form. The item of participation should be clearly indicated instead of merely giving the alphabets.  The heads of office while forwarding the entries, should see that they are complete in all respects.

  This may be circulated to all officials under your control including GDS.  Entries may be called for from them and the entries along with the requisite IPOs and certificate for proof of age in respect of Junior participants (Up to 15 years as on 31.07.2011) may be submitted to this office by 13.10.2011  Juniors will not be allowed to participate without the certificate. The rules and regulations of the Cultural Competitions are the same as circulated earlier vide C.O. letter No.400-20/05-06 dated 08.07.05 and subsequently. It may please be noted that the last minute entries/changes at the venue will not be entertained under any circumstances.
