Sub:    Approval for tenderer for purchase of Old records & Sweepings for

the year 2012-13– reg.

The following tenderer have been approved for purchase of Post office old records and sweepings separately at the rate noted against each for the year 2012-13.

All the SPMs are directed to weed out the old records in their offices and send it to the concerned head offices on or before 31.08.12. No current records should be weeded out. Records should be weeded out as per the preservation period according to types of records. The Records / files / vouchers connected with fraudulent / Court cases / Department cases should not be weeded out.
