Sub     :        Loss of Transit bag contain in one registered bag of Trichy RMS/1 dated 17.03.13 and Speed bag no.EBT 8501308197 of Trichy Sorting Hub dated 17.03.13 - reg

It was reported by the SRM, RMS “T” Division, Trichy that one TB containing one registered bag of Trichy RMS/1 dated 17.03.13 with 45 registered articles and 4 insured articles and Speed bag no.EBT 8501308197 of Trichy Sorting Hub dated 17.03.13 containing 23 Speed Post Articles closed by Trichy TMO/2 dated 17.03.2013 was dispatched through w/s SR 76381 Trichy – Karaikudi passenger loaded at Trichy point to Pudukottai RMS on 17.03.2013 (Sunday) and it was lost during transit.

Further it was requested by RMS “T” Division to conduct a thorough search in all the units particularly where the examination parcel bags dispatched through Post offices to trace out the missing TBs.

Therefore, it is requested to made a thorough examination / search at all offices and to intimate the result of the search to this office.

            Sub     :           Monthwise consumption of bags by the Post offices – reg

 

            The annual indent for procuring all kinds of canvas bag, blue Air Mail bag, Nylon Air Mail bag, EMS speed post bags and polypropylene bags required for Post Offices in the Tamilnadu Circle is to be prepared by the Circle Bag Office, Chennai and to be submitted to Directorate for approval. For this purpose the particulars regarding monthwise consumption of all kinds and types of canvas bag, blue Air Mail bag, Nylon Air Mail bag, EMS speed post bags and polypropylene bags for the period from February 2012 to January 2013 and the total annual requirement of your office may be furnished in the enclosed proforma. Correct assessment may be made since indent placed later for more number of bags will not be entertained.

            The consolidated report of monthwise consumption of bags should be submitted to this office on or before 12.04.2013
